Feud Cup 2014
In year 2014 Feud Cup will be organized on the weekend 4th and 5th October near Zagreb.
This time we have chosen quite different type of the terrain which is typical for the Zagreb area where WTOC 2015 will be organized.

Conclusion
10th Feud Cup is over. We have published maps, solutions and the results. Weather was wet with light rain on Saturday and rain on Sunday, but stil we had 62 competitors from 9 countries.
Martin Julum from Norway had a great weekend securing the victory on both days with only one mistake in total. William Rex from Sweden took the second place and Lars Jakob Waaler from Norway third. Best Croat was Zdenko Horjan at 6th place.
It was very exciting finish of the European Trail-O cup. After great performance under presure Martin left open ECTO until last stage. On the second day Martin was again best but this time Lars Jakob also had full house thus securing the third place of a day and overall victory in ECTO. Martin was second, while William took the third place in ECTO overall.
In the E paralympic class first three places were Ivica Bertol, Kari Pinola and Niko Čižek. E junior was won by Antonin Forst. Three best places in A open was Gerd Yttervik, Gro Kristin Haug and Maja Kušt.
I wish to thank our friends from Maksimir, Merz and Vihor for the map, tents and some more equipment. And also to our small team from OK Orion who did great job in havy conditions.
Thank you all for comming and I hope that you have enjoyed both - the competition and the visit to the Plitvice national park and I hope that you will come again to Croatia and to our competition.

Map Uvala
For some time now we were considering the option to put both days on the map Uvala and previous weekend we have made the final decision to do so. Map Uvala gives more oportunities for good TrailO.

On the east side of the main road there is much bigger map with virgin forest.
This map has never been used for Trail-O.

Accommodation
In the national park Plitvička jezera there is plenty of choice for accommodation. Near the parking place two there are three hotels: Jezero, Plitvice and Belvue, 11 km away there is hotel Grabovica and in Korenica, 17 km away is hotel Macola. Also there are lot's of private rooms apartments and houses of various standards. There are also two camping places in the area and one student hostel (17 km from the park).
Best starting point for finding the accommodation is web page of the Plitvice tourist board. There you have a list of all available accommodation with web pages, telephone numbers, etc.
When it comes to the accommodation for people in the wheelchairs, I'm afraid that offer is more limited. In the hotel Jezero they have two apartments adapted for wheelchairs users, declared as 2+2 each. In hotel Macola they have elevator and several rooms with bigger bathrooms. Apart from that I couldn't find other appropriate accommodation in the vicinity. Closest bigger town is Karlovac, little bit more than one hour of driving from Plitvice.
Toilets for people in the wheelchairs are located in the hotel Plitvice, in the Mukinje sport centre and one on the parking place number one.

Two TrailO competition have been organized since on map Mukinje. In the 2008 the course was on the southern part of the map with half controls on the semiopen part of the map. In the year 2010 competition was organized for non-para competitors only and we have used middle part of the map which is too steep for standard TrailO course.
Here is the middle part of the map with course from year 2010.
This year we will use northern part of the map, previously not used for orienteering.
